So I don't really read 'shoujo' manga, besides Nana (which to me is more like Josei, but isn't...), but recently I found one I really like

It's called Parfait Tic. And it's all romantic and stuff, but somehow really refreshing... It is typical in some regards (multiple guys like the heroine, cheesy situations follow blah blah blah)... but it's actually reaaaally awesome. o_o It's a little bit feminist too. Also, side characters have really great stories and some nice development.

The art is really pretty, too. It doesn't start out as the standard 'lithe' style, but it does develop a very subtle and pleasing look.

So, yeah, I recommend it if anyone is looking for a read. I've been reading it on OneManga, but it could be hosted elsewhere. It is a work in progress, as far as I know.

In other news- I was the floorboards from The Tell-Tale Heart for Halloween
So, I was surrounded by girls in sexy police officer uniforms, sexy kitten get-ups, sexy cowgirl outfits.... and I was wearing a poster-board with wood floor panelling coloured on it... ^_^;
<_< the real downfall was when multiple guys were like 'wow, you really take "flat as a board" to a new level' T_T; hah. hah. so clever.
Other people, thankfully, were chill enough to appreciate my hilarious genius n_n
